One of my favourite spots to stay on the alert is always right by the doorway. In the olden days - when Missy was still around - I played being a gatekeeper...that is, I positioned myself and watch Missy get really upset when she didn't want to, yet had to "cross my path"...and of course, I'd try to cuff her. Hehe!
Now, I just do to keep a close eye on Donny and Marie...so that I can stay out of their way and not attract their attention to me. It's highly unbecoming when either come along to touch me "coz they felt like it".

you have a very important role in the house Casey, the doorway is a prized place..i hope you don;t make dashes for it though when it is open!!!
I think the laser beam eyes should help keep those two in line!

Wow, I just saw your pictures and you all are such beautiful cats. I am sorry you couldn't make it to my party over the weekend. I sure hope your mom is feeling better. It is good to watch at the door, one cannot be to careful anymore. Stay in touch.

The door must be yur territory and no one else's. It's furry impurtant to have a gatekeeper or guard to keep owt da evil introoders.
